We are registered with Colne Valley Veterinary Practice. Any veterinary emergencies will be dealt with by them. It is our policy to record any accidents or incidents in our accident and incident book, however minor they are, where you will be informed at pick up about what happened. This is only to provide the highest standard of care and communication. Minor marks are not always avoided when dogs play together, especially with a puppy, their teeth and claws can be very sharp and their play style when young is to nip around the face of another dog. Staff are always there however to ensure that play does not get too rough, excitable and out of hand.
Enrolment will ensure that we have your details and an emergency contact, should the rare event happen that your dog needs immediate veterinary care. It will be at our discretion as to whether your pet has an emergency problem and any vet bills incurred will be at your expense. We will always do our very best to keep you informed as soon as a situation arises.
If your dog has been ill the night before a session or that morning/afternoon we cannot provide care for them. As much as we would love to nurse your dog better, the best place for them is at home with you or at a veterinary practice. We are very happy to give advice and help so please, never hesitate to contact us, we will even send a get well soon card!
